Above is the short trailer for the Book and exhibition of – Poppy Trails of Afghan Heroin.

It’s only after having been introduced to this project, that I actually understood what #phonar is all about – From my perspective the phonar module is actually opening up new possibilities. Possibilities of working media of all kinds into this multi sensory experience that truly engages the viewer, subject, capturer, creator  (what ever !!!! ) to produce an over all ‘piece’ that doesn’t just layer meaning onto media, it cakes it, soaks it and then reforms it into an outcome that not only challenges viewers to take the information on board but also helps us to build immediate connections to the media, from our own mental and visual bank.

All of the ^above^ was drawn out my mind by reading the information on the foto8 website and through watching the main Poppy video on the page.
