#PHONAR – Task 2 – Alienated Sensory Mashup

The above youtube video was produced by myself (Amber Nicholls) and my fellow Phonar student Daisy Ware Jarett. We have responded to this second task by visually recording our journey through the woods, along with the soundscape that when blind folded we both hurd. Together we decided to each produce our own versions of the narrative that we found ourselves living whilst on this eyeopening walk through the woods.

For me there was a great realisation when I started to hear all these different sounds and the effects that me moving in an odd way created, for instance walking through mud sounded vastly different when I could not see what was creating the sound, yet when the sound is placed next to a picture of mud it was evident what it was.
