Capturing A Glimpse Of the Southern Countryside – Shoot 1

After my first year at university, I was approached by a family friend who lives in my local village, Milstead in Kent (the garden of England) and asked to produce one image of the surrounding countryside with which we live in, that would truly engage visiting viewers within his living room.

With this first shoot I focused greatly on fine details, such as a single seed bud of grass, the tangles in barbed wire and simplicity, yet visually dynamic running water in a cattle trough.
